Acceptable Use Policy
In order to ensure the public nature and safety of the hotel, guests are requested to observe the following rules in accordance with Article 10 of the Hotel's Terms and Conditions. If you do not comply with these rules, the accommodation contract may be cancelled in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 of the Accommodation Contract.

- Please do not use cooking utensils in the guest room or in the hallway. (Including items that use fire, hot plates, etc.)
- Do not smoke in bed or in other places where fires are likely to occur.
- Please do not invite visitors to your room or allow them to use the facilities or items in your room.

Please do not bring the following items into the hotel:
- Animals and birds
- items that emit a remarkably foul odor
- Gunpowder, volatile oils, and hazardous chemicals that are easily ignited or ignited.
- Firearms and swords without a permit
- Extremely large quantities of goods
- Please refrain from gambling, disturbing manners, or any behavior that may cause inconvenience to other guests in the hotel.
- Please do not use the guest room or lobby as an office without the consent of the hotel.
- Please do not distribute advertising materials to other guests in the hotel.
- Please refrain from changing the facilities in the guest room without the permission of the hotel.
- Please do not move, process, take out, or use the facilities and items in the building for any purpose other than their intended purpose.
- Unless there is an emergency or unavoidable circumstances, please do not enter facilities other than for guests.
- Do not leave your belongings in the hallway or lobby.
- Please do not leave the hotel in your yukata and slippers.

Unless otherwise instructed, the storage period of the items entrusted to us is as follows.
- Front desk and cloakroom 3 months
- Laundry requested from the laundry 3 months
- We do not accept reimbursement for shopping, tickets, taxis, postage, etc. in the hotel.
Terms and Conditions
(Scope of application)
Article 1
- The Accommodation Contract and related contracts concluded by the Hotel shall be in accordance with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions and matters not stipulated in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by laws (Laws or those based on laws. The same shall apply hereinafter.) or generally established customs.
- When the Hotel has entered into a special contract with the Guest as long as it does not contradict with the laws or generally accepted practices, the special contract shall take precedence.
(Application for Accommodation Contract)
Article 2

A person who intends to apply for an accommodation contract with the hotel shall notify the hotel of the following matters.
- Name of the Guest
- Date of accommodation and estimated time of arrival
- Accommodation charges (in principle, based on the Basic Accommodation Charges listed in Attached Table 1)
- Other matters deemed necessary by the Hotel
- In the case when the Guest requests, to extend his/her stay at the hotel, beyond the date set forth in subparagraph (2) of the preceding Paragraph, during his/her stay, it shall be regarded as an application for a new Accommodation Contract at the time such request is made.
(Conclusion of accommodation contract, etc.)
Article 3
- The Accommodation Contract shall be concluded when the Hotel accepts the application set forth in the preceding Article. However, this shall not apply if it is proved that the hotel has not accepted the application.
- When an Accommodation Contract has been concluded in accordance with the provisions of the preceding Paragraph, the Guest shall pay an accommodation deposit specified by the Hotel within the limits of the Basic Accommodation Charges covering the entire Guest's period of stay (3 days). Payment will be made by the date specified by the Hotel.
- The deposit shall first be applied to the Accommodation Charges to be paid by the Guest, and when the provisions of Article 6 and Article 18 are applicable the deposit shall be applied in the order of the cancellation charges followed by compensation. Any remaining balance shall be refunded at the time of payment of the Accommodation Charges as stipulated in Article 12.
- If the Guest fails to pay the deposit by the date specified by the Hotel in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 2, the Accommodation Contract shall become invalid. However, this shall apply only if the Hotel has notified the Guest about this condition at the time of specifying the due date for payment of the deposit.
(Special contract that does not require payment of application fee)
Article 4
- Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article, after the conclusion of the contract the Hotel may enter into a special contract that does not require the payment of the application fee set forth in the same paragraph.
- In the event that the Hotel does not request the payment of the application fee as stipulated in Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article or does not specify the due date for payment of the application fee when accepting the application for an Accommodation Contract, it shall be treated as having accepted the special contract set forth in the preceding Paragraph.
(Request for Cooperation in Infection Prevention Measures at Facilities)
Article 4-2
- The Hotel may request cooperation from the person intending to stay in accordance with the provisions of Article 4-2, Paragraph 1 of the Hotel Business Act (Act No. 138 of Showa 23).
(Refusal to conclude an accommodation contract)
Article 5
-
The Hotel may not accept the conclusion of an accommodation contract in the following cases. However, this paragraph does not mean that the hotel may refuse accommodation in cases other than those listed in Article 5 of the Hotel Business Act.
- When the application for accommodation does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
- When there is no room available due to full occupancy.
- When it is deemed that the person intending to stay is may engage himself or herself in a manner that will contravenes the provisions of laws, public order or good morals relating to his/her accommodation.

When the person intending to stay is deemed to fall under any of the following (a) to (c):
- An organized crime group (hereinafter referred to as an "organized crime group") stipulated in Article 2, Item 2 of the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Act No. 77 of Heisei 3). Organized crime group members stipulated in Article 2, Item 6 of the same law (hereinafter referred to as "organized crime group members"). Associate members of organized crime groups, people related to organized crime groups, and other antisocial forces.
- When an organized crime group or a member of an organized crime group or other corporations that controls business activities of a crime group.
- A corporation whose officers are members of an organized crime group.
- When the person intending to stay behaves in a manner that causes significant inconvenience to other guests:
- When the person intending to stay is a patient with a specified infectious disease as stipulated in Article 4-2, Paragraph 1, Item 2 of the Hotel Business Act (hereinafter referred to as "Patient of a Specified Infectious Disease, etc.").
- When a violent demand is made or an unreasonable burden is demanded relating to accommodation (while a person intending to stay on the grounds of disability Act on Promotion of Elimination of Discrimination (Act No. 65 of 25). Hereinafter referred to as the "Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities". Except in cases where the removal of social barriers pursuant to the provisions of Article 7, Paragraph 2 or Article 8, Paragraph 2 is sought.
- When the person intending to stay repeats the request stipulated in Article 5-6 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Hotel Business Act to the Hotel that the burden associated with the implementation of the accommodation is excessive and may significantly impede the provision of accommodation services to other guests.
- When it is not possible to provide accommodation due to a natural disaster, malfunction of the facilities, or other unavoidable reasons.
- In cases where the provisions of Article 5, Item 1 and Item 2 of the Nagano Prefecture Ordinance on Standards for Sanitary Measures for Hotel Business Facilities are applicable.
(Explanation of refusal to conclude an accommodation contract)
Article 5-2
- A person intending to stay may request the Hotel to explain the reason for the Hotel's refusal to conclude an Accommodation Contract in accordance with the preceding Article.
(Guest's right to cancel the contract)
Article 6
- The Guest may cancel the Accommodation Contract by notifying the Hotel.
- In the event that the Guest has cancelled the whole or part of the Accommodation Contract due to the reasons attributable to the Guest (in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 2 of Article 3) a penalty will be charged in accordance with the items listed in Appendix 2. (This shall not apply to cases where the Guest has been requested payment of the deposit by specifying the due date and the Guest cancels the Accommodation Contract prior to the payment). However, in the event that the Hotel has entered into a special contract as stipulated in Paragraph 1 of Article 4, shall be obligated to pay the cancellation charges at the time of cancellation only when the guest is notified.
- The hotel shall be operated at 8 p.m. on the day of accommodation, if the guest does not arrive at the hotel by that time without prior notice (or 2 hours after the ETA, if such time is specified in advance) the accommodation contract may be deemed to have been cancelled by the guest.
(Right of Cancellation of Contract of the Hotel)
Article 7
- The Hotel may cancel the Accommodation Contract in the following cases. However, this paragraph does not mean that the hotel may refuse accommodation in cases other than those listed in Article 5 of the Hotel Business Act.
- When it is recognized that the guest is likely to conduct himself in a manner that will contravene the provisions of laws, public order or good morals relating to his or her accommodation, or when it is recognized that the guest has committed such acts;
- When the Guest is deemed to fall under any of the following (a) to (c):
- Organized crime groups, organized crime group members, associate members of organized crime groups, people related to organized crime groups and other antisocial forces.
- When an organized crime group or a member of an organized crime group or other corporations that controls business activities of a crime group.
- A corporation whose officers are members of an organized crime group.
- When The Guest behaves in a manner that causes significant inconvenience to other Guests.
- When the Guest is a patient with a specified infectious disease.
- When a violent demand is made or an unreasonable burden is demanded relating to accommodation (while a person intending to stay on the grounds of disability Act on Promotion of Elimination of Discrimination (Act No. 65 of 25). Hereinafter referred to as the "Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities". Except in cases where the removal of social barriers pursuant to the provisions of Article 7, Paragraph 2 or Article 8, Paragraph 2 is sought.
- When the Guest repeats the request stipulated in Article 5-6 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Hotel Business Act to the Hotel that the burden associated with the implementation of the accommodation is excessive and may significantly impede the provision of accommodation services to other guests.
- When the Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to reasons caused by force majeure such as natural disasters.
- When the provisions of Article 5, Item 1 and Item 2 of the Nagano Prefecture Ordinance on Standards for Sanitary Measures for Hotel Business Facilities fall under the provisions of the case.
- When you do not comply with the Prohibited Acts stipulated by the Hotel such as Smoking in bed, mischief with firefighting equipment (limited to those are necessary for fire prevention), etc.
- In the event that the Hotel has cancelled the Accommodation Contract in accordance with the provisions of the preceding Paragraph, the Hotel shall not be charged for any accommodation services that the Guest has not yet received.
(Explanation of Cancellation of Accommodation Contract)
Article 7-2
The Guest may request an explanation of the reasons for the cancellation of the Accommodation Contract by the Hotel in accordance with the preceding Article.
(Registration of Accommodation)
Article 8
- The Guest shall register the following items at the front desk of the Hotel on the day of accommodation.
- Name, address and contact information of the Guest.
- For foreigners who do not have an address in Japan, nationality and passport number.
- Other matters deemed necessary by the Hotel.
- In the event that the Guest intends to pay his/her Accommodation Charges prescribed in Article 12 by any means other than Japanese currency, such as traveler's checks, coupons or credit cards, these credentials shall be shown in advance at the time of the registration prescribed in the preceding Paragraph.
(Occupancy time of the guest room)
Article 9
- The Guest can use the guest rooms of the Hotel from 3 p.m. to 10 a.m. to the next morning. However, in the case where the Guest is accommodated consecutively, the Guest can occupy the room all day long, except for the day of arrival and departure.
- Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding Paragraph, the Hotel may accommodate rooms for use to the guest outside the hours stipulated in the same Paragraph. In this case, the following additional charges will be charged.
- 10% of the room charge shall be charged for each excess hour, and the added hours shall be until 1 p.m. in principle.
- The amount equivalent to the room charge set forth in the preceding paragraph shall be 100% of the basic accommodation charge.
(Compliance with the Rules of Use)
Article 10
The Guest shall comply with rules set by the Hotel and posted within the Hotel.
(Business hours)
Article 11
- The business hours of the main facilities of the Hotel are as follows, and the detailed business hours of other facilities will be announced in the pamphlets provided, notices in various places, service directories in the guest rooms, etc.
- Front Desk Cashier Service Hours:
- Curfew: None
- Reception service 24 hours a day
- Exchange service 24 hours a day
- Food and beverage (facility) service hours:
- Breakfast 7:00 ~ 9:00 (1st floor, KOYO)
- Dinner 17:00 ~ 22:00 (〃)
- Other food and beverages, etc.
- Ancillary Service Facility Hours:
- Front Desk Cashier Service Hours:
- The hours set forth in the preceding paragraph may be changed temporarily if necessary or unavoidable. In that case, we will notify you by an appropriate method.
(Payment of fees)
Article 12
- The breakdown of the Accommodation Charges, etc. to be paid by the Guest shall be as listed in Attached Table No. 1.
- The payment of the Accommodation Charges, etc. set forth in the preceding Paragraph shall be made in Japanese currency or by any alternative method approved by the Hotel, such as traveler's checks, coupons, credit cards, etc., at the time of the Guest's departure or at the Hotel. When you make a request, you will be asked to do it at the front desk.
- Even if the guest does not voluntarily stay at the hotel after the hotel has provided the guest a room and made it available for use, the accommodation fee shall be charged.
(Responsibility of the Hotel)
Article 13
- The Hotel shall compensate the Guest for any damage caused to the Guest in fulfilling the Accommodation Contract and related contracts or due to the non-fulfillment thereof. However, this shall not apply if it is not due to reasons attributable to the hotel.
- The hotel is covered by inn liability insurance in order to deal with fires, etc.
(Handling when the contracted room cannot be provided)
Article 14
- When the Hotel is unable to provide the contracted room to the Guest, with the Guest`s consent Hotel shall arrange other accommodation of the same standard as much as possible.
- Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding Paragraph, when arrangement of other accommodation cannot be made, the Hotel shall pay the Guest a compensation fee equivalent to the cancellation charges, and the compensation fee shall be applied to the amount of damages. However, if there is no reason attributable to the hotel for not being able to provide the room, the compensation fee will not be paid.
(Handling of Deposited Items, etc.)
Article 15
- In the event of loss, breakage, or other damage to goods, cash or valuables deposited at the front desk by the Guest, the Hotel shall compensate for such damage, except in cases of force majeure. However, in the case of cash and valuables, if the Hotel has requested a declaration of the type and value thereof and the Guest has failed to do so, the Hotel will compensate for the damage up to 150,000 yen.
- Loss of goods, cash and valuables brought into the premises of the Hotel by the Guest that were not deposited at the front desk due to the intention or negligence of the Hotel. In the event of damage such as breakage, the hotel will compensate for the damage. However, in the case of items for which the type and value of the item have not been notified in advance by the guest, the maximum amount of 50,000 yen shall be charged to the hotel, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the hotel. Hotel will compensate you for the damages.
(Storage of Guest's Baggage or Personal Belongings)
Article 16
- In the event that the Guest's baggage arrives at the Hotel prior to his/her stay, the Guest's baggage shall be stored responsibly only if the Hotel agrees to do so prior to his/her arrival. It will be given to guests when they check in at the front desk.
- In the event that the baggage or belongings of the Guest are left behind at the Hotel after the Guest has checked out, and the owner of the baggage is identified, the Hotel shall contact the owner and ask for their instructions. However, if there is no instruction from the owner or if the owner cannot be identified, we will keep it for 7 days including the day of discovery, then deliver it to the nearest police station.
- The Hotel's responsibility for the custody of the Guest's baggage or belongings in the case of the preceding two Paragraphs shall be in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 1 of the preceding Article in the case of Paragraph 1, and with the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the same Article in the case of the preceding Paragraph.
(Responsibility for parking)
Article 17
- When the Guest uses the parking lot of the Hotel, whether the key of the vehicle is deposited or not, the hotel lends the space and is not responsible for the management of the vehicle. However, in the event that the hotel intentionally or negligently causes damage in the management of the parking lot, the hotel will be liable for compensation.
(Responsibility of the Guest)
Article 18
- In the event that the Hotel suffers damage due to the intention or negligence of the Guest, the Guest shall compensate the Hotel for the damage.

Note:
- % is the ratio of the cancellation charge to the basic accommodation charge.
- If the number of days contracted is shortened, the cancellation fee for one day (the first day) will be collected regardless of the number of days shortened.
- In the event of cancellation of the contract for a part of the group (10 or more people), 10% of the number of guests (rounded up if a fraction is issued) as of 10 days prior to accommodation (or the date of acceptance if the application is accepted after that date). No penalty will be charged for the number of people.
